The short version: Flick does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on any server. Everything you enter — expenses, categories, budgets, receipt photos — stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no way to see your information, because it never leaves your phone.
This policy explains what happens to your data when you use Flick, an expense tracking app for iOS. It applies to the app itself and to this website.
None. Flick does not require an account, does not connect to a bank or any external service, and does not transmit any data to us or to any third party. All expenses, categories, budgets, project data, and receipt photos you create are stored locally in the app's storage on your own device.
Flick requests access to your device camera so you can photograph receipts. Photos you take are processed entirely on your device to extract the merchant name and amount. These photos and any extracted data are stored locally and are never uploaded anywhere.
Flick does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking technology of any kind.
Since all data lives on your device, you can delete it at any time by deleting the app, or by using any in-app data deletion option. Because we never receive a copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our end — there is no copy.
Flick is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, since it collects no information from anyone at all.
If this policy changes — for example, if we add an optional feature that involves data leaving your device — we will update this page and the "last updated" date above, and will make any such feature clearly opt-in.
